Chimpy's Code for Website Designers

I, your Chimpy Design Studios Website Designer, will work with you to create a great Website that attractively, accurately, and effectively represents your company or organization on the Internet. I will not overcharge you nor will I cut corners to get this done. Loyalty, integrity, honor, and respect are values of utmost importance to me and my actions will represent that.

My goal is to provide you with a search engine and user friendly website design that will keep your customers coming back and attract new customers to you. In doing so, I will use a combination of design elements that will prove attractive and useful to your custom design. I do this because your satisfaction is my greatest reward.

It is your job to provide me with the images and fundamental text for your website. I may use all of the text and images you provide or I may only use a small portion of them, but rest assured, I want your website to be successful and before going "live" you will have the final decision for each web page.

It is my job to do the very best I can to make sure you are happy with the final website design.

My 9 step schedule for designing your website is this:

1. compile information from you
2. help you secure good web hosting (if necessary)
3. create preliminary content ideas and site map
4. create basic page design (limited text and graphics)
5. create basic website layout (limited text and graphics)
6. finalize content
7. finalize design
8. upload your new website
9. teach you how to access admin files (if necessary)

At each stage of the schedule I will send an e-mail to you providing an opportunity to review and approve the progress before I continue. The length of time to finish each stage will depend heavily on the complexity of your website and I will offer you my undivided attention throughout the entire duration of this schedule... because nothing is more important to me than your satisfaction.

Chimpy's Promise

I, your Chimpy Design Studios Designer, hereby promise to always treat you with respect and the same courtesy as I expect in return. Loyalty, integrity, honor, and respect are values of utmost importance to me and my actions will represent that. You are my customer, whether paying or not, and I value you and your knowledge. I want to help you, but I will not overstep the boundaries you establish.

Before I begin working, I promise to gain approval from you regarding the projected cost of any marketing materials and/or website design. I will be fair and I will not allow anyone to sway my judgment of what is fair when it comes to your marketing materials and/or website design pricing. Fair is providing quality work at a cost-effective price for you, my customer. You will receive the first bill for 50% of the agreed price after we agree on the price, not before. Special financial circumstances will warrant special treatment from me, however proof of the financial circumstances may be required from you.

As my customer you deserve the very best and nothing less. If I cannot do the job you have requested I will be truthful with you and provide an alternate solution if possible. If my solution does not meet or exceed your wishes for your nonprofit website design or marketing materials, I will refer you to another designer or design company who can help you.

I am a representative of Chimpy Design Studios and I will always act accordingly. My opinion is just that and although I try to be fair and impartial, my opinion is only my opinion. You do not have to share my opinion, but please respect it. I will respect your opinion at all times.

I enjoy my job and I really enjoy helping people. That's why I'm here. I also need to pay bills. That's why I charge a fee for my services.

Most importantly, I am thankful for the opportunity to work with you. Alone I can do little, but together we can accomplish anything.
